The teacher applying this position must be proficient in mathematics in order to teach the following programs:
IGCSE International Mathematics, a 2 year Cambridge program taught un grades 9 and 10. The Syllabus covers the following concepts:
- Number
- Algebra
- Fuctions
- Coordinate geometry
- Geometry
- Vectors and transformations
- Mensuration
- Trigonometry
- Sets
- Probability
- Statistics
IB Applications and Interpretations for grade 11, wich covers the following concepts:
- Number and Algebra
- Function and equations
- Geometry and trigonometry
- Statistics and Probability
- Calculus
- Toolkit and Exploration
Responsibilities
- Both subjects are to be taught un English
- Follow the requirements from both program IGCSE & IB
- Knowledge and skills in the management of Google Suite
- Put into practice your best teaching strategies to help students achieve both certifications
- And all those related to schools: participate in training, school events, academy meetings, etc
Qualifications
Bachelor´s degree in Mathematics or Engineering.
C2 Proficiency
PGCE would be amazing, otherwise 2 years of teaching experience (prefarable in the teaching of any of these 2 programs)
